Delong Passes the National High-Tech Enterprise Review
The company has completed the three-year review of its National High-Tech Enterprise status. The new certificate is numbered GR202543000400 and is valid until 2028.
On December 8, 2025, Zhuzhou Delong Metal Material Processing Co., Ltd. received its new High-Tech Enterprise Certificate, numbered GR202543000400 and valid for three years. The company first received this recognition in 2022; this is the review at the end of the three-year term as required by regulation, and indicators including core intellectual property, R&D expense ratio, transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and the share of revenue from high-tech products all passed the audit.
The review places great weight on the continuity of R&D investment. The company's R&D spending has stayed at close to 6% of sales revenue, with a technical team of more than 15 people and 14 valid patents in total, of which 1 is an invention patent and 13 are utility model patents, with another 5 pending. It also holds 4 software copyrights covering the three main lines of production, operations and quality management.
Beyond the continuation of the credential, the more practical significance lies on the production side: competition in cemented carbide CNC inserts ultimately comes down to dimensional consistency, and the company's insert tolerance is currently held to ±0.05 mm, tighter than the ±0.08 mm of the GB/T 2081 national standard. The next round of R&D will continue along three lines: substrate formulation, chipbreaker geometry and coating process.
